Share Your Voice on New Overtime Rules

Your Rodeway Owners Association Board is sharing the information below from AAHOA to make you aware of an opportunity to contact your elected officials to ask them to support the Protecting Workplace Advancement and Opportunity Act (H.R. 4773. and S. 2707). Thank you for your consideration and support.

This week, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, one of AAHOA’s elite industry partners hosted ts annual legislative fly-in. During this event, members of the Chamber focused on the DOL’s Overtime Rule, and are urged elected officials to enact legislation that will reverse these extreme regulations.
In order to supplement their efforts, and to stand in solidarity with small and large business owners across the country, we urge all AAHOA members to send a quick letter to your elected officials asking them to support the Protecting Workplace Advancement and Opportunity Act (H.R. 4773, S. 2707).
As you know, the recently released Overtime Rule increases the salary threshold for overtime eligibility to $47,476 for full-time salaried workers. This represents an over 100% increase! Effective December 1, 2016, thousands of hard working business owners and millions of employees will see a direct hit to their economic well-being.
